What time do you arrive and leave?
Our standard arrival time is 6.00pm. For a small additional hourly rate, we can arrive earlier if you wish. Just make sure to check with us first, to make sure we’re available.
How much do you cost?
There’s so much that goes into the price we quote (travel, dates, size of venue, PA/Lighting requirements etc) we don’t have a fixed price. Please use the contact page to request a quotation via email
How many are in the band?
There are four of us in the band? Our lineup consists of a singer, bassist, guitarist and drummer. We also use some live tracks to allow us to create a bigger sound with brass and synths in the same way that professional chart bands do!
How long does it take you to get all your equipment setup?
Our new setup takes approximately 1hr to set up. Sound check is then around 40mins.
Do you provide sound & lighting equipment?
Yes. We’re completely self contained. You don’t need to provide anything other than a good electrical supply for us to plug our equipment into (Ideally a couple of points each side of the stage). We carry an industry standard PA system and a range of LED lighting so that the stage and dance-floor area is lit and looks great!
Can you play venues that have noise limiters?
We can, but to be honest, they’re not ideal for live music as they trigger mostly from frequency (not volume) but we’ve found that more and more venues have them installed so we’ve learned to deal with them.
What payment methods do you accept?
For a Private function, we require a deposit of £50 upon booking. You can do this on our site. The remainder is payable in cash on the night prior to the event starting.
Do you have insurance?
We certainly do! We have Public Liability Insurance for £5m which is the standard requirement for most venues.
Do you learn requests?
In most cases, we can – especially if it’s a first dance request. But this does depend on timescales – if you would like this, please make sure you let us know.
Do we have to provide anything else?
We’re pretty easy going and provide most things – however, if you’re able to hydrate and feed the band – it’s always appreciated (either in the break or before we go on stage). It doesn’t need to be ellaborate; just something like a tray of sandwiches is fine. Most people just let us join their evening food which is fine!
Do we get a written contract?
You certainly do. The contract is an important document that makes sure that both you and us are really clear about what’s happening on the day are what our expectations of each other are.
