Matt (Guitar)

Matt is a professional Guitarist and Guitar Teacher. At 21 years old, Matt has established himself as an independent music professional across a variety of fields.

Since first picking up the guitar aged 8. Matt has undertaken years of intensive musical training. This includes working through the Rockschool grading syllabus, achieving GCSE Music, a BTEC National Extended Diploma in Music performance and a First Class BA Honours Degree in Popular Music.

Matt’s professional playing career began at aged 16 touring with UK Country artist Frankie C. Since then, he has accumulated a large selection equipment and experience, and has established himself as an in demand musician for a variety of Covers, Wedding, Function and Original bands across the UK.

Alongside live guitar playing, Matt regularly works as a Producer/Engineer/Session Guitarist on studio recordings. This has led him to feature on albums such as Lunaxis – What Good Is Their Love (2018) and has worked alongside legendary producer/engineer Tony Platt (ACDC, Bob Marley, Iron Maiden, Gary Moore, Buddy Guy). Matt also works an online content writer for MGR Music and offers private guitar lessons.
